MANDY GUNN IS AN INNOVATIVE ARTIST WELL KNOWN FOR HER USE OF RECYCLED MATERIALS
Her work has been shown in major galleries throughout Australia and is held in many collections.She trained at Monash University and the Victorian College of the Arts where she completed a Masters degree in 2000. She has been awarded prizes, project grants, and residencies from major funding bodies in Australia and is a highly experienced teacher,having taught at RMIT since 1995. She works mainly with installation, assemblage and sculpture, using a variety of found and everday materials often incorporating text and techniques that have their origin in textiles.
